Oral Surgeon

“Maxilofacial” refers to the face and jaws while “oral” refers to structures of the mouth. An oral and maxillofacial surgeon specializes in treating defects, injuries, and cosmetic issues pertaining to the teeth, mouth, face, and jaws. This type of surgeon completes additional training after dental school before undergoing a surgical residency program.

If you come to our office experiencing facial pain, jaw pain, or an impacted molar that requires removal, you will likely work with our oral surgeon.
