What Are Dentures?
Dentures are removable prosthetic appliances used to replace missing teeth and the surrounding gum tissue.
As a cornerstone of restorative dental care, dentures remain a highly effective and popular option. Thanks to advancements in modern fabrication, today's prosthetics provide greater functionality and a more natural appearance than ever before.
Depending on your individual situation, our team will recommend one of two main types:
Full Dentures
Recommended when all teeth in the upper or lower arch (or both) have been lost. Full dentures rest on the gum ridge and are held in place by natural suction, occasionally assisted by a dental adhesive.
Partial Dentures
Designed for patients who still have some healthy natural teeth remaining. Partial dentures clip securely around existing teeth using metal or acrylic clasps, filling the gaps left by missing teeth and preventing surrounding teeth from shifting position over time.
Each set of dentures is custom-made from detailed impressions of your mouth to ensure a fit that is both secure and comfortable. We match the shape, size, and shade of your dentures to complement your facial features and any remaining natural teeth.
